TeX Live2024 安装实录与2025 开发计划

这几天不少用户问TeXLive2024 咋样，安装之后感觉就是更好使了，占得硬盘也是不少 8.6G空间。下面是我安装的过程实录。以 windows 11 为例，大家做参考：

安装准备

1，卸载老版本的 TeX Live 或者 CTeX。

2，下载新版本的安装文件，地址：

https://mirrors.ctan.org/systems/texlive/Images/texlive.iso

开始安装

双击iso文件，会默认挂载，打开挂载分区如下：

接着，在 install-tl-windows.bat 上面右键管理员运行：

系统的执行警告处理掉如下：

启动后就会显示如下界面：

点击安装即可，如果你切换硬盘路径，请选择其他路径，注意路径不要含有中文或者特殊字符：

系统就开始安装了。

出现下面的界面，就是安装成功了。

这样就可以享用新版本 TeXlive 了！

TeX Live 2025 开发计划:

• 2025年2月1日：candidate/final sources committed, test builds begin.

• 2025年2月8日：TL pretest starts, CTAN updates continue there and in tlnet.

• 2025年2月22日：code freeze for final build, major bug fixes only.

• 2025年3月1日： final updates from CTAN, final doc tweaks.

• 2025年3月8日：  release TL and MacTeX.

As of this year (2024), the TeX Collection DVD will no longer be sent as a TUG membership benefit. Images will be available for individual download and burning.
